BA (Hons) Interior Architecture & Design students are going to show their creative final projects and previous projects in this coming exhibition. Looking forward? Come and Join us!
2010 A Space Odyssey is the graduation exhibition organized by BA (Hons) Graphic Design and BA (Hons)Interior Architecture & Design students from HKU SPACE CommunityCollege x Middlesex University UK design programme.
‘NO BRIEF: ReProcess’ is the theme of the show this year; it means our dedication to the whole design process, searching for the answers to our own briefs. Throughout this process, we contemplated to the design problems, explored the issues for creative ideas, we failed, and then reprocessed from the very beginning. We believe the new generation designers should not only do what they like, and jump to the conclusions. Creativity should be processed with careful consideration and planning on all the details.
For our graduation exhibition this year, after all the processes, Interior Architecture and Design students have created 'LOST CITY' as the interior design concept of our part of exhibition.
LOST CITY is a territory where lost civilizations inhabit. These inhabitants are groups and individuals who search for knowledge outside the structures of established exoteric education and knowledge practice, hence they never managed to fit into the mainstream thoughts.
In metropolis city like here, we choose not to enter a world of business and commerce where most people choose to camp in. We follow our own spiritual and development path in design in order to create a better place in our course of human history. And in this short period of time, we will review ourselves from secrecy and show people our plans to reshape our cities.
